Huntsville Trip, September 2017

As soon as I got back from Oregon, a hurricane warning was issued for the entire state of Florida as Irma beared down on the state. Just my luck.

After nearly two days of dithering, I decided to escape to Huntsville and wait out the storm up there instead of staying in its path. With a little help from my work, I was able to have my AirBnb and gas covered, which put the icing on the cake.

I also got to travel to some pretty cool places while the weather was good.

Here's the details.

The sun shines through the trees as I descend into the Walls of Jericho.
