Day Trip to North Florida Springs

During my mom's spring break from her school, I took her on a day trip up to North Florida to see some of my favorite springs in the area.

We visited Gilchrist Blue Springs, Ginnie Springs, and Manatee Springs, and we had plans to visit a couple more. However the Suwannee River had recently flooded its banks and those springs were closed until the waters receded.

Overall, it was a great day and I was very surprised that my mom managed to get up at 6 AM to get ready to go. While there were a couple springs at Ginnie I would have liked to get pictures of, I'm largely pleased with what I had to work with.

Here's the photographic evidence - hope you enjoy.
