Wanderlust in Washington State

After an abnormally large period without traveling, my first serious trip since November 2021 took me out to the Pacific Northwest to visit my cousin and his wife in Olympia, WA. We mostly kept the trip local due to the nature of Hillary's work, but we spent the first two days in Olympic National Park, camping along Kalaloch Beach and visiting Ruby Beach and the Hoh Rainforest.

One we returned we spent two days visiting local parks and exploring downtown Olympia, then returned to the Olympic Peninsula to hike to a lake in the National Forest on a particularly wet day. We spent my final day in Seattle, where I sampled six different coffee shops before a red-eye flight back to Orlando. It was a great way to ease back into traveling, and I was spoiled by David and Hillary's hospitality.

Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip.
